We provide a complete design solution, which begins with an in-depth consultation and site assessment. From there we develop a bespoke plan that responds to your lifestyle, planting preferences and the unique qualities of your site.
Your final document package includes a detailed, scaled landscape plan, planting list and comprehensive plant schedule, a materials palette with suggested suppliers, and a seasonal care guide to help your new garden thrive.
Where required, we can also prepare lighting and irrigation plans. Whether your project is completed in one stage or over several years, you'll receive a clear roadmap that can be confidently implemented by you or your landscape contractor.

We understand that some clients have a strong sense of what they love and how they want to use a space, but need some assistance bringing a concept together.
While our studio specialise in complete garden designs, we offer a number of virtual design packages each year for small gardens. Through virtual consultation, we create a high-level design that provides creative direction, horticultural advice and recommendations tailored to your garden.

We don't undertake landscape construction ourselves, but we do recommend experienced contractors who are committed to quality craftsmanship. You're welcome to engage your own landscaper, or we can assist in this process to ensure construction goes smoothly and that the design is delivered as intended. This may include answering contractor queries, reviewing progress, clarifying design details and helping resolve any site-specific challenges that arise during construction.
Once the structural elements of the garden are complete, we lay out and plant each specimen ourselves. This ensures the planting is implemented according to the intention of the original design and that your garden is given the best start possible.

We source high-quality plants from trusted wholesale growers and specialist nurseries. This ensures each specimen is healthy, suits the design intent and has the best opportunity to flourish in your new garden.
OUR PROCESS
Our gardens are tailored to you and your property, from the beginning through to the final details. We adapt our design package to every project to suit our clients’ priorities and budget. Here is some information about our broad process.
Consultation
Every project begins with a conversation. We spend time understanding your property, your aspirations and needs, including your budget. We review the site’s existing conditions and opportunities, and facilitate a survey if one is not available already.
Concept plan
The concept plan indicates the layout, garden areas, key design features, levels and utilities. We also provide mood and reference images to help you visualise how the garden could look and function. This plan provides an opportunity to review the big picture and adjust ideas.
Developed design
Once the concept plan is agreed, we proceed to create the detailed plan. At this stage, we present the materials, planting palette and features that will shape the character of your garden.
Technical design
Technical documents provide clear information to aid the construction of your garden. These set out construction details, lighting plans, levels and materials.
Planting plan
Our planting plans specify the location of all the plants that will breathe life into your garden. We consider sizes and quantities to ensure we meet your budget. We can also provide a care schedule.
